Riley Tomes is a seventh grader at Edison Middle School who takes trumpet lessons here at the JESM with Jon Samuel. We are highlighting her today because she has achieved something incredible – with her talent and confidence, and after only two lessons with her instructor Jon Samuel, she made it into the Edison Middle School Jazz Band! Riley and Jon are both pictured to the right.
In Riley’s spare time, she likes to spend time with her long-haired Chihuahua named Rosie. She also loves to act and read. Her favorite books are the Harry Potter series.
