Chicago Trumpet Lessons
The Jerry Evans School of Music seeks to be one of the top Brass Programs in all of Chicagoland, and provides excellent Trumpet instruction to all students of any skill level from Zachary Belles. Whether playing in school orchestra, school band, Jazz band, solo, in an audition orchestra/band, in a Rock band, or just for fun at home, students will receive a thorough Trumpet education in environment of excellence and fun.
Zachary has performed internationally, and studied under Chelsea French of the Chicago Civic Orchestra, and studied under Nico Segal who has recorded with 3 time Grammy Award winner “Chance the Rapper” and recorded for Grammy Award winner Neil Young. Zachary earned his Music Education Degree from North Central College in IL, and currently holds an Illinois State Board of Education teaching certificate in K-12 music education.
Zachary brings his extensive Trumpet expertise to help students succeed while also bringing a kind spirit, friendliness, experience, a fun attitude, and patience to work with all students, whether their pace of progress is quick or slow. Zachary helps students foster a love for music that helps them work through any obstacle they might face. Students will believe they can do great things and will be taught in a safe environment where they feel free to take on exciting challenges.
The JESM Brass program empowers musicians using proper fundamentals, a core curriculum designed to fit each student’s needs, and helping students connect to music where they can also play music that they choose. From J.S. Bach, to Antonio Vivaldi, to Ludwig Van Beethoven, to Wolfang Amadeus Mozart, to Movie/Broadway themes, to Jazz music, or Pop/Rock/Funk music, a student can learn it at the JESM. Your student will excel in their school’s orchestra and school’s band programs as Zachary will work hand in hand with the music of your student’s orchestra/band teacher.
