Andrew Moreno | Wheaton Cello & Double Bass Instructor

Andrew Moreno holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Elmhurst University and is currently pursuing a Master of Music Education degree. Andrew can help any student learn music in styles such as Classical, Jazz, Pop, and more.

As an educator, Andrew is passionate about helping students develop strong musical foundations that translate into lifelong, real world skills. He tailors instruction to each student’s unique needs and learning style, balancing essential repertoire and technical development with music that inspires and excites the individual student. Andrew also believes that strong communication with parents is key to student success and works to ensure families are equipped to support musical growth at home. Andrew can help any student learn music in styles such as Classical, Jazz, Pop, and more. He strives to create engaging learning experiences that encourage students to make their own discoveries and connections with music, fostering both independence and creativity.

When not teaching, Andrew enjoys performing at weddings, corporate events, restaurants, private functions, and other artistic engagements throughout the Chicagoland area. Most recently, he attended the Jazz Institute at the Brevard Music Center in North Carolina, where he studied and performed alongside talented musicians from across the country.
